What is Illinois Blue Devils philosophy on playing time
The Illinois Blue Devil Basketball Program is a competitive basketball program that wants the hardest working players in Illinois. The first 75% of all games will be equal playing time. The remaining 25% of the game will be at the coaches discretion. Players must attend practice consistently in order to learn the offense, defense, and plays for this rule to apply.
What types of tournaments do the Illinois Blue Devils play in?
One day tournaments.
Why do we play in one day tournaments?
A one day tournament allows teams to play all 3 of their games in a single day allowing the rest of the weekend for other activities. The tournament directors schedule games conveniently so that participants spend only a few hours at the tournament site.
An example of game times are 9am-11am-1pm.
